Where life begins and love never ends

March 17, 2018

On this photo above you can see my heroine, my grandmother, my grandfather and my uncles Glenn & Benny.

Here’s my sailor uncle Glenn, he also happens to be my godfather and I just happen to adore these photographs.

This little toddler is my mother. You have no idea how much I love you.

Here’s my uncle Stefan. He’s the youngest of all them four. When I saw this photo I thought – he’s holding a cellphone?

Nostalgia

February 2, 2018

So as you might have noticed, I’ve been collecting old captures from my past. Photos, that is. And it’s been lovely, taking a trip down memory lane as it has been heartbreaking. Heartbreaking because you see the faces of people who you no longer can see. The only way to see them again is by looking at these photos or you drown in your memories and dreams in your head.
And it’s been lovely, because you remember the memories you spent with these persons. Or you see a photo of a newborn baby and this baby has now become a girl and a big sister.
After my graduation I moved back to Spain and then my sister was also here for 6 months. We went almost every day to this café, drink coffee and read Vogue, poetry or just talk about nothing and everything.

The laughter, the pain, the drunken nights, the love.

Hello, so, a whole summer has passed. Incredibly fast.
I always tell myself that this time – this time I will update and get into this again.
But life gets in the way. But hey, let’s give it another try.

Our biggest news, I guess, are that we got a new member in the family.
It happened in one of those summer thunder nights, this little girl came in to the restaurant where I work and said that she fount “it” in the parkinglot.
Myself was in the back cleaning up when my boss called my name. And there, in a huge box was this baby kitten. Smaller than the palm of my hand. I took her home in a wine box. The next day we the little one with our big one to the vet. Turns out it is a she and she’s hardly two weeks old. Every two hours we gave her the bottle with powder milk. Made sure she had warm surroundings at all times.

A few days later we decided that we are her new forever home. We gave her the name Ygritte.
Mr Richardson got used to the idea and they are now best buddies.
